☆ THIS WEEK’S FEATURED TRUCK
Planet Vegan

Planet Vegan has been leaders of the vegan movement in town for years now. They’ve withstood tragedy, rebuilt, opened a brick-and-mortar location and still have their food truck rolling.
Like every mobile food vendor, they’re chasing dreams behind that wheel. Lately, that’s seen them expanding their horizons and venturing out to the Bay Area, where I’m told they were really well received last weekend.
But they always have the Central Valley in their hearts. So they’re back home with us this week. Find them at Art Hop in the Brewery District (5-10:30p), First Fridays at Crow & Wolf (5-10p) and our Friday lunch spot downtown at Eaton Plaza (11-2p).
✦ Did You Know …
… we feed the Fresno State football team every week? Fresno Street Eats does a lot of things that people may not see, but that’s one of our best conversation starters. Once the Bulldogs finish their meetings the day after a game, we have a variety of food trucks waiting for them to try.
So if you’re considering booking catering for your own corporate gathering or tailgate, hit up Fresno Street Eats and use who the Bulldogs use.

✚ From Mike
Newsletter readers, you’re hearing this first! And we’re proud of this one.
We’ve struck up a partnership with Boots in the Park, so when the country festival returns to Woodward Park on Sept. 19 and follows the next day with its hip-hop counterpart Party in the Park on Sept. 20, we’ll have food trucks at both.
So, who wants a ticket giveaway?
In other news: Thanks for all the great feedback on the new newsletter. Make sure you forward this to your friends, so you can plan your foodie journeys together!
