The Chimney Corner

(The Chimney Corner photo)

This one is going to make you hungry — or maybe Hungary.

We have a new vendor that just debuted with Fresno Street Eats last week called The Chimney Corner and they make a cake that’s popular in Hungary and other Central European countries called a Chimney Cake.

It’s basically a cone with a sugar crust and delicious things in the middle. You can get yours with Nutella, pineapple, strawberries and/or whipped cream.

Because we eat with our eyes: Just look at it.  Looks amazing, right?

Catch The Chimney Corner with us this week at these locations: Thursday night at Fancher Creek Street Eats from 5-8p and Saturday at River Park from 11a-4p. Give them a follow on Instagram too

✦ Did You Know …

Fresno Street Eats is part of every Fresno State football home game? That’s right, we have trucks out at Bulldog BLVD before every game the ‘Dogs play at Valley Children’s Stadium. That includes this Saturday!

Bulldog BLVD starts three hours before kickoff, so 4:30 p.m. for this Sac State game. We’ll have Gator’s Smash Burgers, Chill & Thrill ice cream and Martin’s Grill out this week.

Bulldog BLVD has a ton of new features this year, so you should definitely make it part of your pre-game routine.

✚ From Mike

Taco season is upon us! OK, so maybe there’s not really a taco season — because taco season is all year. But unofficially in my head, taco season starts when we’re about two months out from Taco Truck Throwdown.

And Taco Truck Throwdown, as you can see right above this, is Nov. 7.

(It’s just a coincidence this coincides with football season too, I promise).

Anyway, this is a long way to tell you that Tacomania is this Saturday at River Park and you’ll see more taco events from us as we ramp up to Taco Truck Throwdown. We have some great (and newer) taco trucks out there this Saturday.

While you’re reading this, go grab your TTT tickets because the prices will only go up from here on out.  And if you have a taco truck you think needs to be in Taco Truck Throwdown, write me back and let me know about it! (You can just hit reply on this email.)

See you at a taco truck soon!
