Your Job As A Voter Is Not Done 🌮

Happy Wednesday, Fresno foodies! It’s Taco Truck Throwdown week!

There was an election this week. You probably got a text message about it. But that was only the first part of your civic duty. We’ve got another big vote happening Saturday night.

Taco Truck Throwdown is Saturday night at Chukchansi Park. It’s our 15th year highlighting the best taco trucks from in and around Fresno, then crowning our champions.

So, your job as a voter is not done.

I mentioned this week, but the biggest storyline to me at TTT15 is that both of last year’s winners are judges this year. So the field is wide open.

Can one of the new trucks  — like Vega Bros., Taqueria Mi Ranchito or Archie’s — take the crown?

Or will one of the trucks that has finished close in recent years — like Anthony’s Tacos, El Taco Macho or Tacos El Mandilon — finally get their moment?

I look at this like a sport, honestly. So I’m really curious to see who steps up in our Super Bowl of tacos.

If you are too, get your tickets and join us Saturday.

Not only is Taco Truck Throwdown the biggest taco event in the Valley, we also have the Michelada Throwdown and Salsa Throwdown going on at the same time at the festival.

Vote for your faves there too, because the options are vast and delicious.
